The Jiangxi Grand Beijing Hotel is a few blocks away from the Forbidden City, so you can visit the place during an early morning walk. You can always bring your camera with to get a shot of the old imperial city.

One of the most visited historical places in Beijing the Forbidden City was the home of 24 Chinese Emperors and his family and servants for almost five centuries. It is located in the center of Beijing, which now accommodates the Palace Museum.

 

From the Jiangxi Grand Beijing Hotel, you can see the Forbidden City which extends an area of approximately 72 hectares with a total floor distance of about 150, 000 square meters. Inside the square are 90 palaces and courtyards, 980 buildings and 8,704 rooms. All the gates, palaces and other structures of the Forbidden City were set on both sides of the south-north central axis which symbolized the supreme authority of the emperor from the God and the place of his dwelling as the center of the world.
